Insight and AdOps Analyst

Job Description

As a member of the Operations and Account team, the Insights and AdOps Analyst, will be part of a team responsible for the set-up, optimization, performance and general post-sales of advertising campaigns.

The Insights and AdOps Analyst will support the Account and Sales Managers in their account cultivation and growth efforts, managing a portfolio of strategic client initiatives both in a managed service, programmatic and Adwords capacity. The Insights and AdOps Analyst will also oversee the accurate tracking of data related to campaign delivery and will be responsible for timely and effective communication both to internal parties and to clients as well as ensuring high quality post-sales follow ups, upgrading DynAdmic reporting and leveraging internal and external benchmark data for insights.

Responsibilities

ADOPS

  • Lead preparation for campaign activation through clear and concise communication efforts with client and internal teams.
  • Oversee post-sale process, including but not limited to: campaign set-up, pacing and delivery, incremental revenue generation and post campaign analysis.
  • Analyze performance data to highlight key trends.
  • Help internal staff development through consistent and thorough knowledge sharing insights.
  • Understand clients’ objectives and KPIs and optimize towards these for optimum campaign performance
  • Troubleshooting issues effecting delivery and performance
  • Analysing Metamarkets and internal dashboards to get campaign insights and actionable data
  • Reporting performance to internal teams and clients, daily, weekly and in group/pod meetings
  • Identifying upselling opportunities
  • Knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, Adwords, and 3rd party ad-serving systems
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of digital media industry and market dynamics
  • Regular reporting of campaign performance data to internal and external teams, producing mid and end of campaign reports. Includes writing campaign commentary and analysis, producing screenshots and ability to highlight campaign success metrics for our clients.
  • Test and implement 3rd party tracking, VAST/VPAID, and brand studies
  • VPAID building

INSIGHTS

  • Providing insights for global strategic clients and regional sales development
  • Development of consumer and market insights for verticals (CPG, Retail, Automotive, Travel, Tech, Finance, Luxury) ) - B2C, B2B in line with the business objectives and the long term roadmap
  • Designing measurement methodologies linked to our clients business objectives
  • Upgrading reporting with more BI and Data analysis
  • Leveraging internal benchmark data for insights
  • Internal communication on learnings and best practices
  • Answering ad hoc requests from management & Marketing and assisting them with their daily workflow

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience at a digital media agency, publisher, SSP, DSP or AdTech company.
  • Bachelor degree level or equivalent (preferably with strong numerical & data skills)
  • Has a proven track record of exceptional time management – effectively plans long-term and big picture projects, while maintaining day-to-day effectiveness.
  • Continually promotes and achieves high standards of quality at work, applies attention to details in execution and constantly looks for problems to solve and ways to improve.
  • Has a track-record of surpassing ambitious goals in a fast-paced, competitive environment over a sustained period.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and is proactive and a creative thinker.
  • Is adept at navigating the intricacies of tactical systems and processes (e.g., third party ad servers, verification vendor platforms, DSPs, Salesforce, Adwords, etc.)
  • Takes a collaborative approach to their work and is a great team player.
  • Good level in written and spoken English
  • Bright and intelligent, with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

Demonstrable interest in research methodologies and analytical tools, consumer behaviour, digital media and advertising industry.

Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Demonstrable experience of managing the end-to-end campaign process for top tier advertisers.
